C - Learning Outcome 5
Last week during our school J-Term portion of the year I partook in the Minecraft World Building and Philosophy J-Term. During this week part of the work we did was breaking up to work on our own or in groups to create projects in Minecraft reflecting on our discussions or material that we went over in class. I tried to do a project alone first but then I realized how hard of a project it was to take on my own, and I never actually was able to finish it. Once I started collaborating with my peers it became a whole lot easier to create something that had meaning and frankly looked far better than what I could build alone. Working in a group allowed for more ideas to circle around and a new perspective on how to improve the work that we had started. Working together for this was probably the smarter move because that way we could have two mindsets which is usually better than one and we could bounce ideas off of each other to build something worthwhile that was a good response to the philosophy work we did in class.
