A - Learning Outcome 2

Today during my midday break at school, I went outside to get some fresh air and eat lunch. While out there, I also took the opportunity to get some exercise in and I threw the football around with Andreas. We were both pretty rusty since we haven't participated in this activity for a while and we both struggled at first to get into the rhythm of it. After a little bit of practice we were both throwing perfectly fine and didn't have any trouble covering the distance with ease. This was great for both of us and also a good way to build up our endurance and get back into an active routine.

C - Learning Outcome 2

This past week I downloaded a new app onto my Xbox that I have been playing with some of my friends. In the game, you control two cubes, one blue and one red, and the objective is to get them to their "home base". Players have to solve a different puzzle each level trying to get the cubes to their objectives. As you progress through the levels they get harder, introducing new challenges to overcome, including red and blue spikes and lasers which only cubes of the same color can pass through, portals you can teleport between, and buttons to press that move other blocks around and activate spikes/lasers. This game has proven a lot more challenging than previously believed, some of the levels take me up to 25 minutes to complete. Due to the difficulty of the levels I have found it necessary to come up with new perspectives and creative ways to overcome the present challenges. One of the most difficult levels was where I had to figure out how to block a laser off so that I could ...

A - Learning Outcome 1

This past Labor Day Weekend I took a trip with a family friend to Chicago/Michigan. We landed in Michigan and took a rental car up to Michigan. This trip was fun because I had a friend my age to hang out with and talk to while we were walking around all day. This is where I identified an area for growth which is conversation starters. I have always been an introverted person but sometimes when I was walking a conversation would kind of die off and I had to come up with something to say. I kind of struggled with coming up with things to say which is why this is something I need to work on because most people don't like walking in silence. It was also a great trip because of all of the walking we did and climbing a mountain which allowed me to use the strength of being fit that I have.

C - Learning Outcome 5

During the short term "panic" last week about the tropical storm Laura, I went over to my grandparents house to help them prepare for bad weather. This job was relatively hard because they have a lot of things out in their yard so my dad and I had to bring in a lot of potted plants and decorations so they would be thrown around in case of high winds. My dad and I had to work as a team for most of this because a lot of the things we had to bring inside the garage were large potted plants and they weren't easily lifted alone. We had to use a dolly and have one person hold on to it while the other pushed the plant on it, this process took a while but we were able to make it efficient with our teamwork. Another thing we did was go up on their old fashioned roof and use flex seal on parts that water might have been able to leak through, which was not exactly fun because it was hot but once again by doing it as a team we went through it pretty quickly. Doing this as a team eff...
