A - Learning Outcome 1

Recently I had the opportunity to put a skill to use that I had always wanted to. I was going with my friend to the store to get blueberries to take to their sibling. On the way one of the tires popped and we had to pull off onto a side street to take a look. I was excited because I knew how to change a tire and I wanted to use that ability, otherwise it was quite unfortunate. Once we checked the back to start changing the tire I realized we didn't have a car jack so it was impossible to change the tire, so I suggested we go back to my house since it was close and use the car jack in my moms car. Unfortunately it wasn't until we got to my house very slowly with a flat tire that I remembered I had been home alone before my friend picked me up and the car wasn't there with the jack. So then we awkwardly asked the neighbor for a car jack and they were nice and helped us out, so in about 25 minutes we had a new tire on the car and it was quite fun, although we had to improvise because there was a tire lock that also didn't have the right tool in the car so I had to rummage though some of the tool sin my garage to find something that would work. Once we got the tire back on we still got blueberries and they were delicious. In the process the strength I identified was my ability to talk to my neighbors, also changing a car tire, while one area for improvement would be remembering to turn on the car brake thing so it doesn't almost roll over me.
